A couple days with Gramps

After we got to Great Falls we checked into the base hotel...and we got to enjoy dads company for a couple more days after we got here, then sadly it was time to say goodbye to him too. I just keep telling myself we will hopefully be back to visit in June/July sometime.

Although we havent been here long (only a week) Tyler has gotten use of his little warm outfits and stays bundled up...Bredon on the other hand doesnt want to have aything to do with bundleing up right now....we'll see how that changes in the next month or so when he wants to go out and play in the yard at the home we are renting.

Journey to Montana

Although saying goodbye is never easy.....we have now arrived in Great Falls, MT....our place to call "home" for the next few years. Along the way we stopped in Reno, NV...Wendover, UT...and Idaho Falls, ID. Although there were some long boring streches of road, there was also beautiful scenery along the way.

Ice Fishing Anyone????

The lake in the above picture was frozen over and people had little out house looking things and Camper Shells out on the ice for little ice fishing huts...now thats something i dont think you'll ever see in California.

An Early Birthday with Family and Friends For Bredon

Happy Birthday to You....
Since it may be a long while before we are around all our family and friends at Bredon's birthday time...we decided we would have an early birthday party for him before we left for Montana. We had family and friends over for food and then cake. It was also a great way to see people we are close to before leaving.

Yummmm....cake!!

Thank you everyone for comming to the party and for the gifts you gave Bredon....its was great getting to see everyone one before we left!!!

Glover Family Christmas

We had Christmas with Darrell's Family on the 21st and Christmas afternoon. We opened our gifts with his family on the 21st and then on Christmas we went to his aunt and uncles house to have Christmas dinner with the rest of the family.

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree......

Christmas Morning we had Breakfast and opened gifts with my family....We had a great morning, Jamie tried to get Bredon to help her pass out gifts...but we was more interested in taking the bows off and opening them, and mom made a delicious breakfast complete with a pull apart ring... a delicious gooey, nutty biscuit ring that mom always makes on Christmas morning.

Darrell's Graduation

Darrell graduated his Missle Training on December 17th. They had a small ceremony for the class. Darrell's parents and sister Emily came down for the graduation and stayed for a couple nights. They also brought Bredon & Tyler a couple of Christmas gifts so we could send them with the movers.

Home with our Families at Christmas

We had a great time spending Christmas with our families...the time just went by too fast before we had to get on the road to Montana. We had my family Christmas (with my mom's side of the family) on Dec 20th....It was great getting to see all my aunts, uncles, cousins, and little cousins...Everyone was able to be there at somepoint during the night, even if it was just to stop in to say hi and that hasn't happened in a few years. Although we recieved many wonderful gifts from our families....gettting to spend Christmas with them before we had to move was the best gift we received.
