Our home for a while

We are finally in a place we will be staying for the next 3 1/2 years!! No, we didnt buy one...but we are living in a home on base. Its only 3 years old and it has tons of room. It's a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath duplex. There are storage closets everywhere and best of all the kids have a playroom! We are still getting moved in right now but I thought I would post some pictures of it anyway. Enjoy!

Fall

When fall is in the air and all the leaves have fallen off the trees, there is nothing better  for a kid to do with a pile of leaves than to jump in them. I remember jumping in piles of leaves when I was little, so when I raked up the millions of leaves in our backyard I took the kids out to play in them. Bredon LOVED playing in the leaves...Tyler wasnt too sure yet what he was supposed to do in them.

Bredon loved when he got to slide down into the leaves...
Tyler just wanted to crawl up the slide

Tyler decided he would just play
with the toys instead.

Winter in Montana

Well, I think it is officially winter in Montana! We woke up this morning to a winter wonderland...yep you guessed it SNOW!!

Duck Feeding and the Park

Since winter is here the days are getting colder so we took advantage of the 50 somthing degree weather we had on Tuesday and took the kids to the park. At the park is a big duck/goose/swan/seagul pond so we took some bread to feed them. It was very windy that day but overall we had a great time. I guess Darrell wasnt feeding the two big swans fast enough though because one of them stuck their neck out and tried to eat his foot. After feeding the ducks we played in the play area for a little bit.

Tyler decisde to feed himself and not the ducks

Tyler LOVES the baby swings...Bredon liked them too but when I got the camera out to take a picture he started saying he was scared and wanted down

Bredon was being camera shy that day but I managed to catch him off guard and get a picture of him. He likes to run around the play area more than actually sliding and swinging

A wonderful visit

We had a wonderful visit with my mom and dad while they were out here. I always enjoy having the company! The time just goes by way too fast. We can wait to see them again at Christmas time!!
I have posted some pics from their visit.

First Hair Cut

While my mom and dad were out here my mom gave Tyler his first haircut. He did pretty good ...he just wanted to turn his head alot to see what was going on. THis haircut was a much needed one. His hair was starting to get a little long and people were always mistaking him for a girl. Now he looks like a little boy.

Tyler's First Birthday

Well it is offical, Tyler is ONE. I can belive how fast a year goes by. It seems like yesterday I was at the hospital having him. He had a great first birthday. Gramps and Nana flew out for it and a couple of the friends I have made here came with their little ones (including mine there was a total of 7 little ones 3 and under running around the house). We BBQ'd hot dogs, had maccaroni salad, chips, chili beans and fruit...and of course birthday cake. Nana made Tyler's first birthday cake and it was very cute and delicious! After lunch we opended a couple gifts...Tyler lost intrest easily so we opened the majority of them later in the evening after a much need nap for Tyler.
