Its been a while...

Well, looking at my blog it  has been a LONG time since I last updated it. I guess when you have three kiddos and just everyday life to live you don't always have as much time to sit in front of the computer as you once did. Life is crazy at times and a lot has happened over the last year and a half. I'm going to try to give a brief run down of what has been going on in our lives the last almost year and a half and I'm sure there will be things left out.
So, I left off at the beginning of May 2011, we had just welcomed our third baby, a girl and that is when life got a little bit crazier...I didn't realize how much a third baby would change the way things worked in our house but we wouldn't change it for anything. This was the summer that we decided we were going to stay home and not visit our families in California. We took a couple trips to Glacier National Park here and there, the place is beautiful and every time you go there you see something new...animals, scenery, and weather. In July we took a trip to Minnesota, this was very fun and exciting for us. We got to see my mom, aunt, sister and cousin from California...we also got to see one of our cousins whom we hadn't seen in years. The kiddos loved the zoo and Nickelodeon Universe which was located inside the Mall of America (never thought I would ever get to go there). After we got back from Minnesota Darrell's parents visited us for a week and then one of my cousins came out and visited us for couple weeks. I LOVE having company and will take visitors anytime I can get them :)
Shortly after my cousin left to go back home we had a family emergency in California, so the kiddos and I ended up going to California and staying with my parents for the next few months...it was wonderful that we were able to go and stay for that long with family. Thankfully everything ended up ok in the end...I'm just glad that I was able to go and help my family when they needed it the most, I would do it all over again if I needed to. While we were out there Bredon started Preschool and loved it! The teachers were wonderful and he made quite a few friends...he even got to be in a class with his cousin. Tyler turned 3 while we were out there and it was great getting to have a birthday party with family and friends there. Darrell visited us around Halloween for a week and then had to fly back home for work. We were out there for Reagan's first Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas! Darrell flew out to be with us for Christmas and then we all flew back home to Montana together. It was a very bittersweet moment for me. I was sad to be leaving our families but at the same time it was nice to be back to our normal lives.
After coming back home Bredon started preschool out here in Montana....thankfully his teacher was great! He did very well adjusting to a new school and teacher. He turned 5 in February and had a great birthday party at the Children's Museum. In the spring he played soccer and loved it.
In April 2012 we enjoyed the company of Gramps and Nana for Reagan's 1st Birthday. Time sure does go by so fast when you have kids. Now she is running around with her brothers and had more and more personality everyday!
Shortly after Reagan's birthday we found out that we were expecting our 4th baby. I know I said that Reagan was going to be our final addition but we are very excited to be adding one more to our family. This one really is our FINAL addition.
In June we travelled to Yellowstone National Park....the kids loved it! The scenery was very pretty. I loved seeing all the Bison just roaming freely wherever they wanted and the Geysers were amazing. I am so glad we made it a point to go there before we move. From there we travelled to California to visit our families. Darrell flew home after about a week to return to work and the kiddos and I stayed for a few more weeks. While in California Darrell and I got to go on a two day date thanks to my parents for watching the kids. We also enjoyed going to the beach with my cousin, Gilroy Gardens with my parents, sister and cousins, visited family in Redding for a weekend and went to the lake and Chuckee Cheese with Darrell's parents.
The time went by so fast, it always does but I was lucky enough to have my mom and aunt ride back to Montana with me, they even got to stay for a couple days when we got back.
In August we went on a short trip to Seattle, we spent 3 days touring the city with the city pass. The pass took us up the Space Needle, on a 1 hr Harbor Cruise, to the Science Center, the EMP, the Aquarium and the Zoo.
After we got back I had my 20 week ultrasound and we found out we are having another GIRL...very exciting news. We are so glad that Reagan is going to have a little sister to grow up with!
We ended our summer with Bredon starting Kindergarten!! We officially have a little one who goes to school everyday all day long. The good thing is he LOVES it...he even decided he wanted to ride the bus to/from everyday and his teacher says he is doing GREAT!
Well this is our life over the last year and a half and I will try to not get to behind on my blogging...although there may be a short delay when the new baby gets here because we are also moving shortly after her arrival. Yes, we are moving...to Colorado Springs for Darrell's next assignment!

Brotherly Love

So far the boys LOVE their new baby sister, and they will definitely let you know that she is their baby sister. They always want to hold her and love when she is awake, they tell us that her eyes are open.

Welcome to The World Baby Girl!!

Baby Day... On April 28, 2011 at 1:30pm baby Reagan Makenna Glover was born. Reagan weighed 7lbs 3oz and was 20 inches long. The people at the hospital waiting to meet her were Mommy, Daddy, both Big Brothers, Gramps and Nana. I am so thankful that my mom and dad were able and willing to come out and be here for the birth of Reagan and to also help us out with the boys while I was in the hospital and for a couple weeks after I got out. Now we are all home and everyone is doing well...hope you enjoy the pictures of our new little girl.

Easter 2011

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!! We had a great day. On the Friday before Easter we dyed our eggs, usually we would do this the night before but Darrell was on alert the night before.  Then the night before Easter the boys planted their "lollipop" seeds so that they would could "grow" overnight. On Easter day we didn't really do anything until Darrell came home, so the Easter bunny came that afternoon and they boys got to open their baskets, hunt eggs, and pick the lollipops that grew. After all that we had a yummy halibut dinner.

Museum of The Rockies

Since it was getting closer to being time for the baby to be here we decided to take one last trip as a family of four. We took the boys to Bozeman, MT to go to the Museum of the Rockies. It was a pretty good trip, we got there and went through the Frog exhibit, then the Dinosaurs, and back to the Frogs. After looking at all of that we went upstairs to the Discover Yellowstone area that they just opened not to long ago for kids to play in. The boys loved discovering Yellowstone, they got to fish, look for birds, camp, and set off the geysers. It was a great last trip as a family of four. I can't wait to go on another family trip in a couple of months!

Big Brothers, Big Sisters New Baby Day Camp

The hospital that we had Reagan at offered a class for big brothers and sisters who were going to have a new baby coming, so we signed the boys up for the class. They really seemed to enjoy it, in the class they taught them about holding a baby, changing a diaper, swaddling and things that they should and shouldn't do to the new baby. After the class all the kids got a back pack and they took us on a "hike" through the labor and delivery floor to show the kids what the room looked like that mommy and baby would be staying in.

Nice Weather and Birthday Cake

So on Bredon's actually birthday, the week after we got home from California we got to enjoy some nice weather before it snowed again. For Bredon's birthday we took him to pick out his "Big Boy" bike and then we enjoyed birthday cake after dinner that he helped decorate.
