So a couple weeks ago Darrell actually got 2 days off in a row so we could see alittle more of Montana...we decided to go to Billings, MT it is about a 4 hour drive south east of Great Falls. THe way went to get there was ugly...there was not any nice scenery but on the way back we went a different direction and it took us through a couple forests and meadows and it was very green and beautiful in some parts. THere really isnt much to do in Billings, so while we were there we took the kids to Zoo Montana, went shoping and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Outback. The kids liked the zoo....Bredon loved being able to feed the ducks, chickens, peacocks and goats from his hand...I think the farm animals were his favorite part of the whole zoo. The animals at the zoo are only those that can tollerate the climate here in Montana, so there isnt a huge variety like you would see at a zoo in California but it was just enough to entertain the kids.
We got lucky and Bredon was actually letting us take pictures of him
This was the only Elephant at the zoo..its a statue
