From Our Family to Yours: California

So the Bredon, Tyler, and I flew out to California in January to visit with our families, and Darrell joined us the last week we were there at the begining of February. We had a great time! When we first got there it was like having Christmas all over again...the kids opened gifts from family and friends. While we were out there we also got to go to Redding and help my Aunt Celebrate her birthday...it was a suprise and she didn't even know we were coming up there. The weather was kind of ugly while we were in California, just foggy and drizzly until the last week when it was in the 60's and 70's...atleast we were able to escape the snow and cold temps. Along with visiting family, Darrell was very excited that he was in California when the Giants World Series Trophy was on tour, so we drove to Pleasenton and stood in line to take a picture with the trophy...Darrell was like a kid in a candy store. All in all we had a great visit home and I can't wait to visit again...even if it is Christmas before we get to go back out there.
