Just Random Stuff from our Visit

Well, I know I am a bit behind on this blog but what can I say, I have two very energetic boys who keep me busy :) Ok so, as you probably already have figured out from my previous posts, we went home to California for a few weeks to visit our families. We had such a great time, I love going home when we can...which isn't too often since we live so far away and the weather isn't very cooperative 8 months of the year for driving, but we try and that is what counts. So while in California we enjoyed the warm weather and seeing our family and friends. I also go to go to my 10 year high school reunion our last night in California. When returning to Montana, we had the wonderful company of my mom, sister and Aunt Brenda for the ride out here...even though we had just come from California I still LOVED having their company for a week, and that week went by too fast. So I thought I would post a few pictures from our visit...there are way to many to post them all but enjoy!

Monterey Bay Aquarium

When we were in California visiting, Gramps and Nana took us to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The kids LOVED it!! There were so many different fish, birds and other sea creatures. After we went to the aquarium we went to the beach for a little bit...this was Tyler's First trip to the beach!

Road Trip

Thanks to my mom and dad for watching the kids I was able to go on an annual "road trip" with my cousin Sheena. We went to Monterey and had a great time. While we were there we rented one of the surry bikes..I don't know who was the worst driver...she complained about my driving and I complained about hers...Im glad I wasn't one of the people walking around while we were on the bike path :) Can't wait for our next trip!!

Thank you to the Men and Women have served and are currently serving to protect our freedom!!

Seattle

While on our way to California to visit family we went through Seattle for a few days. While we were there we went to the Science Center, Space Needle, and the Point Defiance Zoo. We also got to visit some friends and had a great time while we were there and would love to go back sometime.

A visit from Family

So the begining of June my Aunt and Uncle from Redding, Ca came by Great Falls to visit us while they were on a road trip.It was so great getting to see them and visit with them. While they were here we looked at a couple falls on the missouri river and also went to Charlie Russel Museum. Thank you for comming to visit!!

I have so much fun taking these classes! i can't wait until August when the fondant and gum paste class starts, hopefully I'll be lucky enough to be able to take this class too. i would like to start doing cakes for people...i just have to find people who need cake :)

This is my final cake for course two...i made the flowers from royal icing, the birds are made from color flow and the cake/basket weave is all butter cream.
